Yoshikuni Iida

1923 Born in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture
1949 Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Keio University and entered the Department of Painting, Tokyo University of the Arts to major in oil painting
1953 Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts
1956 Went to study art in Italy
1957 Moved to Vienna
1967 Returned to Japan via Canada and the United States
1983 to 1989 Professor of Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Hosei University
2006 Died of heart failure at 82 while on a trip to Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan
