Harmonic Drive Systems recognizes the protection of the global environment as one of its key management priorities.
With the aim of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility toward the environment, the company has obtained ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems, and is actively working to improve its environmental performance.
The scope of application is as follows:

Our Group’s climate change governance is integrated into its overall sustainability governance.
A governance framework centered on the Sustainability Committee has been established, with oversight provided by the Board of Directors.
On the execution side, the Sustainability Promotion Office, serving as the secretariat of the Sustainability Committee, works in close coordination with executive officers of relevant departments and presidents of group companies to address sustainability-related risks and opportunities.
